BEHAVIORAL HEALTH  |  Services

Offering both Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities services, Rhinelander, Wisconsin-based The Human Service Center serves thousands of tri-county residents each year.  It directly provides many of its own services including mental health therapy and alcohol and drug abuse counseling.  In addition, it oversees a vast network of community and personal care workers who assist clients with daily needs.  The Center also contracts for services with many outside public and private organizations and local hospitals, as well as community-based residential treatment facilities and private adult family homes.  Through these liaisons, the Center is able to offer everything from adult day care and work services to prevention and community support programs for the developmentally and mentally disabled.

It is the mission of the Behavioral Health Department to collaborate with individuals, families, and the community to offer a recovery-oriented, seamless system of care that addresses mental illness and substance abuse.  Please click on the links below for a detailed description of the services offered by The Human Service Center or contact us to learn more.
