Outpatient Services

 

The Human Service Center is able to offer both mental health and substance abuse treatment through our Rhinelander, WI outpatient clinic. The clinic also offers psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations, and medication monitoring.  In addition, outpatient services are contracted for by the 51.42 Board to provide mental health and substance abuse outpatient therapy at various locations in the community to individuals with no insurance or limited ability to pay.

 

In addition to having therapists and a nurse on our staff, The Human Service Center also provides psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations, and medication monitoring through telehealth services.  When a client has a telehealth appointment with a psychiatrist, although the doctor is viewed on a screen, it's as if you are in the same room together having the appointment.

 

The use of telehealth services and equipment allows The Human Service Center to offer clients more access to psychiatric services and shortens waiting lists.  All information, images, and conversations shared through our telehealth services and equipment are confidential, HIPAA compliant, and secure.
