CRISIS & EMERGENCY SERVICE PROGRAMS (ESP)

 

The Emergency Service Program offered by The Human Service Center provides assistance to the community by offering clinical assessment of individuals experiencing an acute mental health or substance abuse crisis and making recommendations for either hospitalization or alternative intervention.

 

Services include:

 

  • 24-hour, 7 day a week, toll free Crisis Line:  1-888-299-1188

 

  • On-call Mobile Crisis Team.  The On-Call Mobile Crisis Team consists of on-call screeners to conduct evaluations for determining the need for an emergency detention.  Each year the Mobile Crisis Team conducts about 1,000 evaluations.

 

  • Three Crisis/Alcohol Detox beds for persons aged 18 and older.
