Community Support Program

 

The Community Support Program provides assertive community treatment to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depression.  CSP offers intensive services in a highly structured program which allows for individuals to be supported in their home communities.  The program focuses on education of independent living skills and social skills development.  If needed, work related services, individual therapy, group therapy, AODA services and psychiatric services may be offered.  The CSP program has been proven to reduce hospitalization days, the need for extended institutional placement and/or placements in costly residential treatment facilities.
